Analysis of Conflicts (in Social Work)

The lecture illustrates that conflict constellations in social work have to be understood as contested spaces and social relations. The talk highlights that critical psychological as well as sociological, socio-political, as well as social theoretical ideas are fruitful to illuminate conflicts in social work. In addition, the paper presents methodological perspectives that help to understand and uncover conflicts, and to handle conflicts in professional practice as well as in professionalization with others.
